IMPORTANT  This is a full platform AND Agent release, therefore, partners should expect very brief disconnects of the Agent during the update window.

About the release

The 8.3.0 release is the fifth update for Datto RMM in 2020. Along with numerous fixes and improvements, some of the highlights are:

  • You can now access the newly designed Jobs page in the New UI BETA, including the ability to search for, filter on, edit, and delete jobs. Refer to Jobs overview - New UI.
  • We now support installation of Windows 10 Enterprise Feature Updates using the new Windows 10: Upgrade or update to latest Feature Release [WIN] ComStore component.
  • We have introduced a new method to display table actions in the New UI BETA, providing improved discoverability of actions. Refer to Action buttons on the Devices page, Action buttons and Devices on the Job Details page, and Open Alerts on the Device Summary page.

Fix RMM-3852 We fixed an issue with SNMP monitoring where an improperly formatted OID could cause the Agent process to crash.

Fix RMM-2076 We fixed an issue where performance and disk space monitoring did not alert reliably for non-integer values. Refer to Disk Usage Monitor (Windows only) and ESXi Data Store Monitor.

Fix RMM-3800 We fixed an issue where some elements on the Job Results page in the New UI BETA would not display correctly.
