About the release

The 8.2.0 release is the fourth update for Datto RMM in 2020. Along with numerous fixes and improvements, some of the highlights are:

  • You can now view the progress of jobs and review results in the New UI BETA. Refer to Job details - New UI.
  • Zoom has been added to Software Management to automate installation and updates on Windows devices. Refer to Supported software applications and operating systems.
  • The following components have been added to the ComStore:
    • Microsoft Teams
    • Zoom
    • Huntress Agent Deployment
    • Datto Cloud Continuity Monitor

Type Case ID Summary
Fix RMM-3008 We fixed an issue where Datto Networking devices were not removed from Datto RMM if they had been removed from Datto Network Manager.
Fix RMM-3587 We fixed an issue where Datto Networking Integration service errors could cause account deletion to fail.

Fix RMM-3126 We added improved messaging with the ConnectWise Manage Integration when configuration items could not be created because the configuration type had questions marked as "required". Refer to ConnectWise Manage Integration.

Fix RMM-3331 We fixed an issue where Webroot Security Management policies were not correctly populating the definitions file, resulting in alerts not being triggered on devices when monitor thresholds were met.
